What case types do you offer?

  • Boxed Case: This is a standard rectangular design with a hidden sliding bottom panel.
  • Sliding Back Case: This case is similar to the Boxed Case, but the full back panel slides up and down for access.
  • AFA Rail Case: This case is designed for carded figure packaging and includes a top rail as well as a rail on each side to keep the card secure and centered inside the case.
  • Top Flap Case: This case features a top internal rail for boxed packaging with a carded top.
  • Side Flap Case: This case is designed for packaged items with a side-opening flap and includes an internal rail on either the left or right side. To ensure the correct configuration, we require the following information: whether the flap opens toward the front or toward the back and whether it opens on the left or right side. A photo is also required to confirm the proper rail placement and ensure the case fits your item correctly, please send to: careteam@cgagrading.com along with your order number.

What dimensions should I provide?

Please provide the exact dimensions of your item including width, height, and depth. Measurements should be to the closest 1/8 inch or 1/16 inch and can be provided in either fractional or decimal form. Accurate measurements are essential to ensure the case fits your item properly.

Do you add extra space inside the case?

Yes. After you provide your exact item dimensions, we will add approximately 1/8 inch of clearance on each side to allow the item to be inserted easily without forcing it into the case.

Do you make extra-large cases?

Yes. We can create oversized custom cases. Because larger items vary greatly in size and design, please contact us directly so we can confirm feasibility and provide an accurate quote for your item.

Can I add a stand or a wall mount?

Yes. Stands and wall mounts can be added for an additional fee. Because compatibility varies depending on the case type and item, please email us so we can confirm the options and provide pricing.

What is the production time and can I expedite my order?

Our standard production time is 6-8 weeks, and priority production is 2-4 weeks. The priority service option will appear on your quote so you can select it if needed.

Are your cases UV protected?

Our cases are offered in either standard acrylic with slight UV protection or upgraded UV-resistant UF-5 acrylic. The UF-5 material blocks out 99% of harmful spectrums of light and is often used in museums to protect very important items. Both options provide excellent clarity and durability to display your collectible safely.

What makes your cases strong and high quality?

We use only the highest quality acrylic with a minimum thickness of 1/8” (3.2mm). Every edge, inside and out, is flame-polished to perfection for increased visibility and a professional finish. For larger cases, our system automatically defaults to 3/16” thickness to provide additional strength and durability when creating cases for larger figures and playsets.

Where do you make your cases?

All of our custom cases are handcrafted in the United States at our Roswell, GA facility. We use high-quality U.S. materials, and each case is carefully hand-assembled by our skilled craftsmen to ensure precision, durability, and a professional finish.

How do I open my custom case?

The sliding door of your case may feel stiff at first, and it is designed to have some friction to stay securely in place. Please be careful when opening the case. Gently push the sides of the case outward while slowly sliding the door out, and gradually scoot the door until it is fully removed. This careful method helps prevent any cracking or damage to the acrylic.

Can I return my case if it doesn’t fit my item?

All custom cases are built to the specifications provided by the customer. Please double-check your measurements before submitting your order, as custom cases are non-refundable. Accurate dimensions are essential to ensure the item fits properly in the case.
